DESCRIPTION:Kansas Advocacy Day\n\nKansas Advocacy Day will be held on Thur
 sday\, March 12.  Training on current legislative issues affecting those 
 with bleeding disorders will be held either the night before or the mornin
 g of.  Those attending will be updated on the training date\, time and lo
 cation.  Attendees must be a caregiver or have a bleeding disorder\, and 
 a Kansas resident.  If you are traveling approximately 100 miles one way 
 a hotel room will be reserved (at no cost) for you in Topeka the night bef
 ore.  (We have reserved a block of 8 rooms.  The deadline to register fo
 r rooms is Friday\, Feb. 27.  Upon your registration you will receive inf
 ormation on making your hotel room reservation.)\n\nThe training session w
 ill be open to all\, including Industry.  However\, legislative appointme
 nts on Thursday will be for consumers/caregivers only.  You may register
  by emailing Mark Cox at mcox@midwesthemophilia.org.  Kansas Advocacy Da
 y is a great way to inform and enlighten your legislators with personal st
 ory concerning your bleeding disorder.
