Community Outreach Program: Kansas City

Need a night out? Join your MHA community for an interactive, educational experience. Kyrie Smith, a Community Relations and Education Manager (CoRe) will review the clotting fundamentals with you and provide an understanding about what happens when you have a bleed.

She’ll also discuss how factor behaves in the body, including the relationship between FVIII and Von Willebrand Factor (vWF) for people with Hemophilia A and FIX in people with Hemophilia B.

The intended audience for this dinner education program are patients and their families diagnosed with VWD, Hemophilia A, and Hemophilia B.
