2012 Family Fun Fair Schedule of Events
This year’s Family Fun Fair will be a great one! We have a great slate of speakers and educational topics for your enjoyment. In addition, we will enjoy a great night at the Ringling Bros. Circus.
Teens ages 13 and up will enjoy a great afternoon of fun activities and entertainment including a trip to the College Basketball Experience with their friends in the Teen Program. Children under the age of 13 will have quality child care with fun and safe activities provided for them at the Crown Center hotel complex. This includes attending a production of Dear America at the Coterie Theatre, a play based upon letters of two young pioneers.
Sessions this year include our keynote presentation from Barry Haarde on overcoming life’s obstacles. Other topics include do’s and don’ts on raising children, yoga and bleeding disorders, orthopedic surgery options, advocacy, how to be a better consumer, and informative talks about women and men with bleeding disorders. Dr. Brian Wicklund will again provide the latest on hemophilia research and medical education. There will also be an infusion workshop for those who want to learn or improve their home or self infusion skills.
