Designed for youth ages 7-17 who have been diagnosed with Hemophilia or von Willebrands, and/or identified as Carriers of bleeding disorders, Camp Wilderness is a week of fun, learning, and peer support. Our goal is to equip campers with the confidence to learn something new, the skills to become independent, and a support network of friends who become just like family.

To celebrate our 30th year of camp, our theme is:  Nintendo Mario Party! Campers will have the opportunity to experience fishing, canoeing, field games, swimming, archery, arts & crafts, cabin time, fireside chats, health education, infusion clinic, & much more all within our theme!

To add to the celebration…we would like to invite ALL Camp Alumni (campers, volunteers, & medical staff) to join us Friday, July 28th at 11:00am to reminisce, commemorate, share stories. Please help us get the word out to anyone you know who fits this description. It’s safe to assume their contact information has changed and MHA would not have their updated info.

If you have questions about Camp Wilderness, you can contact our Camp Director, Luke Saulsberry, at campdirector@midwesthemophilia.org OR 816-315-7308. Medical Staff from the KC Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) are onsite at all times.
