Mark your calendars for MHA’s Family Education Weekend, taking place September 19–20, 2026, at the Marriott KC in Overland Park, Kansas! This premier event brings together individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders, healthcare professionals, industry partners, and community supporters for a weekend focused on education, connection, and support.
Throughout the weekend, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in informative educational sessions covering a variety of topics relevant to the bleeding disorders community. In addition to learning from experts and advocates, attendees will be able to connect with others who understand the unique experiences and challenges of living with a bleeding disorder.
Guests can also visit sponsor exhibits to learn about the latest advancements, treatment options, and resources available within the community. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been part of the community for years, Family Education Weekend offers valuable opportunities to gain knowledge, build relationships, and strengthen support networks.
To help make the weekend enjoyable for the entire family, childcare will be available for children ages 3 months through 5 years old (not yet in Kindergarten). Youth in Kindergarten through 6th grade can participate in dedicated programming filled with activities and games, while teens will have their own engaging Teen Track experience. Registered attendees can also enjoy a fun Saturday evening group outing at Main Event, featuring plenty of food, games, and time together!
