A Weekend Designed for Connection, Support, and Renewal
Join us for a weekend of connection, education, and relaxation at the annual Men’s Retreat, hosted by the Midwest Hemophilia Association (MHA) and Gateway Bleeding Disorders Association (formerly GHA).
This retreat brings together men impacted by bleeding disorders—either personally or as caregivers—for meaningful conversation, shared experiences, and genuine peer support.
What to Expect
Participants will take part in a balanced weekend experience including:
- Small group + large group discussions
- Outdoor activities and recreation
- Educational sessions focused on health, mental wellness, and navigating life with a bleeding disorder
- Time to decompress, reset, and recharge away from day-to-day routine
This retreat is an opportunity to build relationships, deepen community, and walk away feeling renewed and supported.
Eligibility
To attend, individuals must meet the following criteria:
- 21+ years old
- Live in MHA or GHA coverage areas (Kansas or Missouri)
- Must have a bleeding disorder OR be a spouse or parent of someone with a bleeding disorder
