Join your bleeding disorders community for a Needle to Vein: Building Home Infusion Skills workshop that introduces teens, families, and adults to the process of peripheral intravenous infusion. This session will explore vein identification, handwashing basics, common equipment and “clean area setup.” Individuals will learn about possible complications and when to contact their nurse or doctor. It will include demonstrations of the home infusion process. Presented by National Nurse Educator, Corbett Reinbold, RN, BSN, of the Bleeding Disorders Center of Excellence & Optum Infusion Pharmacy.
Registered attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch, education, and time in the golf bays. Open to all diagnosis bleeding disorders in our community.
