KS Advocacy Day

Kansas Advocacy Day

Kansas Advocacy Day will be held on Thursday, March 12.  Training on current legislative issues affecting those with bleeding disorders will be held either the night before or the morning of.  Those attending will be updated on the training date, time and location.  Attendees must be a caregiver or have a bleeding disorder, and a Kansas resident.  If you are traveling approximately 100 miles one way a hotel room will be reserved (at no cost) for you in Topeka the night before.  (We have reserved a block of 8 rooms.  The deadline to register for rooms is Friday, Feb. 27.  Upon your registration you will receive information on making your hotel room reservation.)

The training session will be open to all, including Industry.  However, legislative appointments on Thursday will be for consumers/caregivers only.  You may register by emailing Mark Cox at mcox@midwesthemophilia.org.  Kansas Advocacy Day is a great way to inform and enlighten your legislators with personal story concerning your bleeding disorder.
